Wooden Traditional/Classical Net

1. Each of our two traditional Laminated Fixed Frame net options is constructed from a scarce selection of exotic, native hardwoods comprising:-
• Matai - Black Pine or Podocarpus Spicatus
• Rewarewa -Knightia Excelsa and
• Kahikatea - White Pine or Podocarpus Dacrydioides
2. These beautiful timbers, unique to the Native forests of New Zealand, are combined to provide a rich tapestry of grain and finish. Four laminations of these highly prized timbers are used in the construction process resulting in a superb, traditional, hand-crafted product. Rewarewa, as the outer lamination of the net frame gives us a beautiful speckled finish, is very hardy and wear resistant. The handle is predominantly Matai, an extremely stable, heavy wood, used by early settlers in flooring and weatherboards. Kahikatea, with its fine grain and odourless characteristics, forms the inner base of the frame. Add to this the unique design flare and professional finishing touch of the `Rusler` brand and you have a classic, timeless and much treasured possession.
3. Two design options are available in these models:
• The Standard Laminated net features
  • (a) pistol grip that moulds into your hand with finger groove locations for a secure, superior feel
  • (b) Strong Rare Earth Magnet release clip
  • (c) Security Bungee cord and swivel clip.
• The Laminated Weight Net features
  • (a) pistol grip to mould into your hand with finger groove locations for a secure, superior feel
  • (b) Weight scales, incorporated into the handle calibrated to 20lb (9 Kg) that neatly tucks away for easy access (the quality stainless steel spring never needs maintenance
  • (c) curl cord security lanyard with an alligator clip that firmly attachs to any garment
  • (d) Strong Rare Earth magnetic release clip.
4. Both Net options are fitted with our famous stretch, catch and release super soft fabric that guarantees absolutely no fin splitting, nose scarring or scale damage !!
